Healthier Chick-fil-A Sandwich

Chick-fil-A’s #1 Deluxe recreated but with a healthier spin! Would you rather have the real thing or this version? Not gonna lie, the original is pretty good though soooooo 😅. See how my healthier recipe compares to the real deal!

1-2 chicken breasts
½ cup milk
½ cup pickle brine
1 teaspoon salt
dill, optional
½ cup all purpose flour
½ cup panko
1 egg, mixed well

Healthier Chick-fil-A Sauce
¼ cup greek yogurt
2 tablespoons bbq sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
salt to taste

For the Sandwich
burger bun
lettuce
tomato
cheese
pickles

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk, pickle brine, salt, and dill together. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.

  2. When you're ready to cook it, dip it in a bowl with flour mixed with salt, then the egg mixture, and then panko. Each of these should be in a separate bowl. Spray the chicken with some oil and air fry at 365 for 10-12 minutes, depending how big your chicken is.

  3. For the sauce- In a bowl, mix together all of the ingredients. Let it sit for 30 minutes to an hour to mix well. Store any excess in the fridge for up to 3-5 days.

  4. When ready to assemble, slather bun with the Chick-fil-A sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, chicken and cheese. Dip in more sauce and enjoy!
